My Caribbean Expo and National Caribbean American Heritage Month Inaugural Launch on, June 1, 2017

BOSTON, MA – May 8, 2017 – The national and local Caribbean American Heritage commemorative, acknowledge the heritage and contributions of Caribbean immigrants. These immigrants hail from a host of islands and countries; from the top of the Caribbean archipelago to the northern coast of South America. Boston’s Caribbean community is made up of thousands of people from those countries and their American-born descendants. All of those people are contributing to the vibrancy of the city in a wide range of social, commercial, governmental and non-profit sectors.

Top entertainment such as local bands, Mocko Jumbies, Maypole dancing, Caribbean folklore, Caribbean food, arts and crafts activities and more are confirmed for the NATIONAL CARIBBEAN AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH celebration to be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at The Great Hall, Codman Square, Boston, MA and the “MY CARIBBEAN, ONE WORLD EXPO” to be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Dewey Square, Rose Kennedy Greenway across from Boston’s South Station.

The Authentic Caribbean Foundation, Caribbean American Heritage committees and regional representative will provide patrons with information about the wide range of vacation options in the Caribbean, highlighting their unique offerings including arts, adventure, culture, cuisine and music. Caribbean Tourism Organization member countries along with influential players from the hotel, airline, attraction, car rental, and allied industries are being recruited to participate in the expo.

We invite you to attend our launch on June 1, 2017 at 6:00 pm at the Great Hall, Codman Square. The function will give a preview of the June and July events and to acknowledge our achievements.
